Lately I have been BUSY. Somehow I went down to one job, took a volunteering sabbatical and deleted Facebook and still have no time to blog. Now don't get me wrong, I am not complaining that I don't have time to blog because I have been doing super fun things such as celebrating our 5 year anniversary in beautiful Midway, going camping with some of my favorite peeps, watching sweet Avaya, some fun girl dinners and spending a lot of time in the sun by golfing and taking advantage of the long evenings . We also have done some not-so-fun things like powerwashing and organizing the garage as well as yardwork and finishing some projects. I recently also just took on an additonal role at work so my days at work are extra full, but I am really enjoying the new challenge. I really want to be better about documenting our life together so I don't forget, so hopefully I get more time and motivation to blog, but beware, some really old events may be making their way onto the blog soon. In the meantime, I leave you with a iPhone pic from our perfect 5 year anniversary, as well as the incredible 5 year anniversary/can't have a baby gift my incredibily generous and loving husband gave to me. I really am so lucky to share my life with such an amazing man, have wonderful, supportive and thoughtful friends and a job that enriches my life and challenges me each day.

After some problems with my original ring and a raving review from Mike's brother Steven about how great Shane Company is, we went there and I fell in love with this wedding set. We bought it in April, but Mike wouldn't let me have it until June 16th, which is the day we said I do 5 years ago. Even though it's a new setting, it's still the diamond Mike proposed with and I really am in love... both with my new ring and mah amazing be. Life is pretty amazing right now.
P.S. Mike bought me a Coach purse for my birthday and we noticed a few weeks ago that the leather was wearing on the bottom of it. We stopped by the Coach outlet on our way to Midway to see if there was a way to fix it and instead of trying to sell me a leather care kit or a new bag, they instead just exchanged my purse for a brand new one. Such awesome customer service and I left feeling like a valued and important customer. A good brand really does go a long way and I am now a Coach customer for life!
Happy weekend everyone!
