This weekend we were fortunate enough to attend the marriage celebration of CJ and Cecili, which was by far one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to. It was held in CJ's mom's backyard and while the setting was perfect, that is not what made this wedding beautiful. What made this wedding magical was the realness of it all and the true presence of love. It wasn’t about putting on a show, the big white dress, the fancy diamond, or the over the top décor. It was just about standing before their friends and families and promising to love each other every day for the rest of their lives. Now, I don’t usually cry at weddings but this was the exception. Their vows to one another were extremely touching and I know that they are in this marriage together forever. It was amazing to see such pure love and we were so honored to be a part of their special day.
Congrats to CJ and Cecili. We wish nothing but the best for you as you continue on your journey together as husband and wife. Thank you for reminding us what marriage is all about and for showing us the true definition of love.
