So yesterday was a big day in the lives of the Ricci's. After a GMAT prep course, lots of practice tests and hours of studying, Mike took the GMAT. I am happy to report that he scored a 750 and I am so very proud of him! He was aiming for above a 720 so this was a very nice surprise! For anyone who doesn't know, the test is out of 800 so his score puts him in the 98th percentile. Of course Mike has to be modest and figure out that 2,000 people got a better score than he did. He is not good about others doting on his achievements. Shouldn't have married me then Be :-)
We are really hoping that his test score will be good enough to get into Harvard because we would love to move back East. Either way we know that whatever happens is for the best and we are trying to enjoy the ride until we find out where life is going to take us. I am having a hard time with it though because I am such a planner. Hopefully we will know more about where we will be next year in December but that seems so far away! I guess we will just have to keep busy with applications until then!

Congratulations, Mike! Matt told me yesterday and he was so excited and proud of your score. Good luck with the waiting. Back east would be so much fun.
That score is absolutely amazing--way to go! Brilliant. Harvard would be crazy not to have him in their program!
